We'll see how long that lasts...
The Texas Rangers won the World Series for the first time in their franchise history.
Granted, the Rangers didn't exist before 1971 so it is a short history but it is the first time none-the-less.
The Maple Leafs are in Boston to play the Bruins this evening and I will be on my couch watching DVRs. That's because tonights game is being streamed in Hulu / ESPN+.
I don't have Hulu and I would never sign up for ESPN+.
ESPN sucks.
Time for dinner.
Enjoy these links if you are so inclined.
- It's the old "I don't know nutthin' bout dat" defense.
- Key line in this story: "Any accusations that my team paid residents in exchange for their vote is unequivocally false."
- The idiots have already started predicting who will win the 2024 World Series.
- Do they mean, "Don't use it a lot" or do they mean "Don't use it when you're high".
- You gotta love dogs.
- Oh Canada.
