Well, that was an interesting ending to a ball game.

I'm not going to argue against the umpires but I am going to say that I think they kind of stretched the rule a bit. And to do that when they knew it would result in the winning run crossing the plate was a bit much.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Tonight's game needs to go a lot better. Bucholz is pitching and no one, I mean no one, expects him to pitch well.

I'm hoping all the news reports about his "problems" are nothing more than a clever ploy on Farrell's part to mislead the Cardinals.
