My neighbors are moving

The folks diagonally across the street from us are selling their house and moving.

This is a good thing because now that they are moving, our property values should go back up to where they belong.

These are the people that left an above-ground pool ladder in their front yard for two months.

These are the people that don't bother to clear the snow out of their driveway. Instead, the husband revs up his car and plows through the snowbank, pushing all that snow into the street for the rest of us to drive around.

These are the people with two drivers and four (or possibly five) cars, all of which are piles of crap except for the Hummer that he only drives occasionally.

These are the people with three kids who have thousands of toys that they leave in the street when they go in at night

I'd like my property value to go back up and I'd like to be able to drive down the road without swerving around snowbanks or hastily-discarded bicycles.

The Red Sox lost last night but they won this afternoon so  they are still in first place in the ALEast by four and a half games.

This continues to make me happy.
