Nice day today

We managed to get some needed rain last night and the day turned out to be one of those perfect New England days. The sun was out, the temp was about 72° and there was no humidity.

Even though I had to work, I still managed to get outside several times and enjoy the day.

One thing that's nice about working at a college is that I have a nice campus to walk around and I take advantage of that by walking at least three times a day.

The Red Sox won last night and hopefully they win again tonight. The Yankees and the Indians played game one of a double header this afternoon and the Indians won. This means the Red Sox are currently four and a half games ahead of the Yankees in the ALEast and half a game behind Cleveland in the AL.

If the Indians beat the Yankees tonight, there's a pretty good chance that the Red Sox will remain half a game behind the Indians in the AL but be five and a half games ahead of the Yankees in the ALEast.

Tomorrow, the Red Sox travel to New York to play a four game series against the Yankees.

It's a good time to be a baseball fan.
