Another win

The Bruins pushed hard and came from behind to tie the game in the third period last night. Then they won the game in a sudden-death period, beating the Panthers 3-2.

This gives them a 8-0-1 record and a total of 17 points.

On the down side, McAvoy decided that it would be a good idea to drive his shoulder in the head of Panther defenseman Ekman-Larsson, drawing what is known as a "match penalty". This results in a five minute penalty for the team and the offending player (McAvoy) is removed from the game.

It will more than likely mean McAvoy will be suspended for some number of games and/or be fined.

A check to the head is considered extremely dangerous and this was no accident. McAvoy deliberately drove his shoulder up into Ekman-Larsson's head while moving at a pretty good clip.

Next game is Thursday when they welcome the Maple Leafs into the Garden. Puck drops at 7:30

In the world of baseball, the Rangers beat the Diamondbacks 3-1 last night and have taken a 2-1 series lead.

I didn't see a lot of the game but it looks like pitching might have been a problem for the Diamondbacks. Their starter, Pfaadt, went 5⅓ innings, but he gave up three earned runs and two walks while striking out only four batters.

They will be at it again this evening for game four of the series and the Diamondbacks need to win. They can't go back to Arlington behind in the series.

It appears that Donald "Help! I'm talking and I can't shut up!" Trump has interpreted the judges gag order to mean he can't type on his truth thingeee anymore but it's okay for him to put out seven (that's right, seven) videos of him talking about how everything that is happening to him is Biden's fault.

Goofy Joe is a boob and I'm pretty sure I'm more ethical than he is but Trump's problems all stem directly from Trump and his belief that he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Even when what he wants is against the law.

Time to figure out what to have for dinner and then hand out candy to disguised children.
