They both lost...

The Red Sox just couldn't muster the runs to sweep the Rays and they ended up losing 6-2.

The Rays were up 3-2 in the 6th inning when Farrell pulled Dempster. The bullpen just didn't have it in them and the Rays grabbed 3 quick runs in the seventh and that was the end of that.

Tonight they are in Detroit to start a four game series with the Tigers.

As for the Bruins, what can I say. The game ended with a 5-5 tie and the Blackhawks managed to take it in OT when they scored a goal 10 minutes into the period.

The series is now tied 2-2 and it's beginning to look like this thing is going to go seven games. If anyone doubts that these two teams are evenly matched, just take a look at the scores and the fact that every game except one has been won in overtime.

The next game is at 8:00 on Saturday and hopefully I'll be awake to see it.
