Because of the rain, I almost didn't put my flag out but fortunately we caught a break this afternoon and you get a Memorial Day picture.

Good day for the Red Sox. They beat the Orioles 7-2 and they now occupy first place in the ALEast by 2 games. They are also in first place in the AL by a game and a half.

Steven Wright went a full nine innings today so they did not have to go to the bullpen. That means the bullpen will be fresh tomorrow and that is a good thing because Eduardo Rodriguez is scheduled to make his first start of the season.

A well-rested bullpen may be essential tomorrow.

They have three more games against the Orioles so lets hope they keep winning.
