Sometimes things go wrong

This morning at work, one of the network switches that controls some vital services failed. This caused an internet outage for a few hours.

You would have thought the world stopped spinning. Apparently a lot of people can't live without the internet.

As for me, I turned my phone into a hotspot and surfed the internet like I always do.

The Red Sox announced today that Pedroia will be starting the season on the disabled list because they want him to spend a bit more time rehabbing. Pedroia today announced that he is ready to go and "they are afraid".

This may sound like blasphemy to most Red Sox fans but it's time for Pedroia to retire.

Baseball is a competitive sport. The teams compete against each other for wins while the players compete against each other for a spot on the team. You want the best player on the field and for the last few years, Pedroia has not been the best player on the field.
