No bronze either

The U.S. Hockey team got spanked pretty well by Finland. They ended up losing the Bronze Medal game by a score of 5-0.

In Red Sox news, they recently contracted with a local boy from West Springfield.

Chris Capuano is a kid who graduated from Cathedral and Duke University before he was drafted by the Diamondbacks back in 1999. He's a pretty good pitcher but he's in his 15th year in the majors so he's no spring chicken.

They offered him a one year contract to pitch out of the bullpen when Ryan Dempster said that he was basically retiring. Hopefully he works out and helps the Red Sox have another excellent season.
