As you can see, it's a mess.
I pulled the old carpet up and then set about scraping the double-face tape & paint that was stuck to the floor.
Tomorrow we will order up the replacement flooring and over the next few weeks I will put it down.
Trust me, it will be beautiful.

The Red Sox managed to not get swept by the Astros today.
They won this afternoon 4-3 and not only does that prevent a sweep, it keeps them above .500 and only 4½ games behind the first place Yankees.
The season is still young....
