No more paste

I have completely removed all of the paste and sizing from the walls.

Tomorrow I will start the process of patching any spots & defects in the walls and prepping them to be, as my friend Scotty D would say, smoother than a nuns belly.

Scott is not known for his reverence...

The Red Sox are off today which is weird since the season just started yesterday.

That's like starting a new job on a Friday. By the time Monday rolls around, you'll have forgotten everything your new boss told you.

So anyways, the Red Sox won yesterday and they now have a perfect record. The Pirates tried to make a comeback but the game ended with the score 5-3 Red Sox.

I was pleased to see that Sandoval played well and ran hard on the base paths. That's a drastic improvement over he play from two years ago.

Porcello pitched a decent 6 innings so he seems to have picked up right where he left off.

On Wednesday, we'll get to see Sale make his first start as a member of the Red Sox and hopes are high that this kid is still as good as he was last season.

It seems like every pitcher that shows up in Boston with a reputation as being great falls apart and fails. Witness David Price. His performance last season was less than spectacular. As a matter of fact, I'd say he sucked.

Hopefully Sale is level-headed enough to remember that baseball is just a game and the more relaxed you are when playing it, the easier it is to play.
