Today would have been a good day to fly.

Unfortunately, the rental aircraft are always in use over the weekend because that is when most students take their lessons.

Oh well.

Instead, we did our grocery shopping and ran into our old friend Chris. He also does his grocery shopping bright and early on Saturday morning.

After that, my wife put our bedroom back together and did her famous "spring cleaning" on the master bath.

Everything looks pretty good and we are both pleased with the way things turned out.

The Red Sox managed to barely hold off the Cubs last night and they won the game 5-4.

Today they played at 4:00 and as I type this, they are in the 3rd inning and the score is 1-0, Red Sox.

Lackey is pitching for the Cubs and he's not doing very well. He's spending a lot of time barking at the umpire over missed pitches. I don't miss him pitching for the Red Sox because he spends a lot of time yapping at his teammates and the officials like everything is someone else's fault.

Wright seems to be doing okay today. His last two starts kind of sucked so I'm hoping he may have figured out how to pitch again and things will be fine.

I'm going to make some pizza and watch the rest of the game. Hopefully the Red Sox prevail and pick up
