Can they win 4 in a row?

There is a better than 50% chance of showers all evening in Boston so they might not be playing baseball. If they don't play, it's going to make for an interesting make-up schedule since this is the only trip the Rangers are making to Boston this season.

The closest they come to Boston with a day off is a two-game series against the Mets in August. That series has two travel days built into it, one before and one after. Other than that, they aren't in the area with any day's off for the remainder of the season.

I suspect they will try their hardest to get this game in tonight but it's gonna be a wet one.

I've been reading about these two guys, Greg Gianforte and Ben Jacobs. Seems they had a little tussle this morning when Gianforte, a candidate for  congress from Montana, decided that Jacobs, a reporter for The Guardian, was an asshole and he tossed him to the floor.

I've heard the words "body slam" and "fell" used to describe what happened but the bottom line is both of these guys are idiots.

Mr. Jacobs decided to pester a political candidate because most reporters think they are the next Woodward & Bernstein, on the verge of breaking the next big story. They get in peoples face and ask stupid questions that usually make no sense, have no possible answer or are just plain rude. Let's face it, there are some reporters who deserve to be smacked around a little bit.

Mr. Gianforte decided to grab Jacobs and throw him to the floor because as with most politicians, he seems to think he is immune to the laws of this nation. They pretty much do whatever they want and then either profess ignorance, act with disdain or arrogantly display a sense of entitlement.

Both of them owe us an apology for their behavior.

Now having said that, I suspect that since Mr. Gianforte is from Montana, the land of manly-men, his decision to get physical will probably be seen as normal and he'll get elected.

While I wait to see if the Red Sox are going to play the Rangers tonight, you can visit these links.
