They really need to win tonight

As it stands right now, the Red Sox are holding on to second place in the ALEast by half a game over the Orioles. The Yankees are playing the Orioles tonight so if the Orioles win and the Red Sox lose, they will slip back into third place.

I would like them to both win. That way the Red Sox will maintain their half game lead over the Orioles and close the gap on the first place Yankees.

I have one thing to say to all the media-types that are yapping about Jared Kushner setting up "back channel communications" with the Russians - SHUT UP YOU IDIOTS!

During the Cuban Missile crisis back in 1962, the Kennedy administration also set up back channel communications with the Russians. That communication eventually turned into the now famous hot line between the White House and the Kremlin.

No one was yammering about that back then. As a matter of fact, it was considered smart to have a dialogue with a foreign power.
