Busy day today

I spent a few hours in meetings this afternoon. I'd tell you what those meetings were about but it would bore the crap out of you so I'll just move on.

The Red Sox managed to win last night and are now 1.5 games ahead of the Orioles. They are still 3 games behind the Yankees but knowing that things will change over the next few weeks means I can hope that they will close that gap.

As it stands right now, they are in a competitive position but I have one major concern - they have activated Sandoval from the DL and, in my humble opinion, he is not the best third baseman in the league.

Fortunately, tonight Sandoval is playing as a DH and Marrero, the guy who hit two home runs last night, remains at third.
