Actually, let me rephrase that - The Worcester Red Sox lost today.
The first four pitchers used in todays game were all just called up from the AAA club:
- K. Crawford - Called up on 9/5/21
- J. Schreiber - Called up on 9/1/21
- S. Gonsalves - Called up on 8/31/21
- R. Brasier - Off the DL on 9/1/21
The Indians (or whatever they're called now) took an early lead but the Red Sox fought back and at the end of the eighth inning, the score was 6-5 in favor of the Indians.
That was when the wheels came off and the Indians scored 5 runs in the ninth inning. The game ended with the Red Sox losing 11-5.
The Red Sox won the series and tomorrow they welcome the Rays into Boston for a three-game series.
The Patriots first game of the season kicks off in one week and I'm looking forward to seeing what the new kid can do.
Hopefully he is way better than Newton.
And speaking of Newton, he is still looking for a job and it doesn't look like he has a lot of teams interested in him. Maybe it's his haircut...
Time to watch some news and then some DVRs. It turns out I still have several Gold Rush's to watch.
Here are some links:
