Bad day for Mac Jones

Mac Jones & the Patriots got run over by Jamis Winston & the Saints today. The Patriots had several turnovers that cost them and despite having some decents drives in the second half, they just couldn't overcome the Saints.

I still think Jones is going to be a hell of a quarterback, he just needs some time. I'm impressed by his ability to read the field, his stability and footwork in the pocket and the fact that he can run the ball if he has to.

The Patriots will have good games and bad games but I also think that within the next year or two, he'll be Brady-esque and the Patriots will become a jugernaught on the field.

On the upside, the US Ryder Cup team managed to beat the Euopean team. That is unusual because to my knowledge, the US has only won 5 of the last 17 matches. That's a pretty shitty record.

I will say that the youngsters that are playing the game these days seem to have more fun than their elders. They are more like Lee Trevino then Tom Kite, enjoying the game of golf instead of playing like robots.

Now it's time for the final meeting of the Red Sox and Yankees in the 2021 regular season.

If the Red Sox win tonight, there is a pretty good chance these two teams will meet one more time in the wildcard playoff to determine who will be the number four seed team in the ALDS.

They really need to win tonight.

While I watch those two blithering idiots from ESPN, Rodriguez and Vasgersian, tell me how to play the game of baseball, you can enjoy these:
