Todays game started at 4:10 and right now it's 0-0 in the top of the sixth inning. Houck pitched a good five innings. They brought in a guy named Austin Davis who loaded the bases before they took him out and put Robles in. Thanks to a lot of luck, Robles was able to take a batted ball of his foot that deflected over to the first baseman. Dalbec was able to pick the ball up and step on first to end the inning.
Hey, take an out any way you can get it.
Hopefully they extend their winning streak to four games today because the Yankees just lost to the Orioles. If the Red Sox win, only half a game will separate them from the Yankees.
As for the Rays, their game against the Twins also started at 4:00 and the Rays are up 11-4 in the fifth so I don't think the Red Sox will gain any ground on them today.
I'm going to make some dinner and watch the rest of this game.
