That's right folks, there are four teams in the wildcard. For those of you that don't know, there are only three wildcard slots so I have no idea how they figure there are four teams.
No matter because the Red Sox aren't one of them. They are still 2 games out of the race.
I've got my fingers crossed that Crawford has a stellar outing and the Red Sox take game one from the Rangers.
My youngest and his wife are house shopping so I decided to do a little math.
In 1991, when purchased our home, we paid approximately three times our annual income. In other words, if we earned $50,000, we only looked at $150,000 houses. This 3x rule was something that a lot of people adhered to when buying a home.
Skip forward to 2024 and I started checking out house prices.
HOLY SHIT!
I checked out this nice 3 bedroom ranch in town.
If they were to adhere to the "three times your income" rule that we stuck to, they would need an annual income of $160,000.
No wonder this generation can't afford to buy a house.
I got another emergency email from The Donald:
Wait just a minute...
I thought he gave Rodham the nickname "Crooked"? How can he re-assign that name to Harris? Did he get Rodham's permission?
Here are today's links:
- Key line in this story: "...the drive through was so crowded."
- Nope, wasn't me.
- Only in Florida.
- I wonder how far away my sister lives from the Tar River.
