We left Northampton and navigated on a quick cross-country trip to Turners Falls. Once there, we did 3 touch & go's and 1 go around.
In a touch and go, you actually land the plane on the runway, retract the flaps, throw on full power and take off.
In a go around, you never touch down. You hold the plane level with full flaps, throw on full power to get the plane back to flying speed, retract the flaps and head up into the pattern.
As for Turners Falls, it's in a small bowl-shaped depression in the hills just south-east of Turners Falls. That bowl in the hills made those swirling winds even more swirly. Specially when taking off.
Still, I love this.

So the Red Sox failed again last night. That's 3 losses in a row and it puts them below .500. This is not a good sign.
Hopefully they can stop the streak tonight and get back to .500

Here are some links:
- They are remaking The Magnificent Seven. I loved the original. Hopefully the remake is just as good.
- Yes, alcohol was involved.
- In case you didn't know this, Satan created a race of giants just to build Stonehenge.
- I wish there were pictures. I'd like to see those cars.
- Wild Thing. You make my heart sing. You make everything Groovy.
