I gotta tell you, I was kinda disappointed. Seems like it could have been a lot more interesting than it was. The movie spends too much time jumping from event to event instead of just focusing on Midway. It starts with Pearl Harbor, then the Marshall Islands, then the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo, and finally the Battle of Midway.
The original just focused on the Battle of Midway and it was a hell of a movie. This one tried to cover too much of World War II.
