The score was 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning, two outs and the Yankees had runners on first & second. The batter hit a long fly ball that was foul by about 12 inches. If it had been 13 inches more to the right, it would have been a home run and the Yankees would have won the game.
Fortunately, he then hit a short fly ball that was caught for the third out, giving the Red Sox the win and putting them back at .500.
We'll see how things go this evening with Houck on the mound.
In hockey news, the Golden Knights have a two game to one game lead over the Panthers.
That is all I have for hockey news. Trust me, if the Bruins were still in it, I would have a lot more hockey news.

I used to work with a guy named Jan Krzanowski. Nice guy but a bit odd. Whenever he walked into a meeting, I would greet him by saying,
"Jan Krzanowski. Ted Kaczynski. Coincidence? I think not."
Jan passed away 4 or 5 years ago which is a shame. He was a genuinely nice human being. - No Donald, once again you are wrong. They aren't coming after me.
- Maybe we should have been friendlier to Cuba.
- Key entry from our favorite police log: "11:49 a.m. Two teens were hiding on the top shelf at a store and throwing toilet paper down at people."
- I grew up in the 60s and 70s. Trust me, we were just as immoral then as we are now. We were just better at pretending to be moral.
- Pssttt, buddy. Wanna buy a Rollecks?
