They stunk up the place

Last night the Red Sox sucked. The starting pitcher, Crawford, only made it through three innings and gave up three runs, two of them earned. The fielders made three errors and the hitters only managed five hits that resulted in only two runs.

Generally speaking, they sucked and they lost 5-2. That pushed them back to .500. The part that is funny is they are still better than every team in the ALCentral.

Tonight is the third game of their three-game series against the Guardians and they need to win tonight to win the series. They called up a guy named Dermody from Worcester to be the starting pitcher. Turns out that at some point in the (recent?) past he sent out a twitter thing that said something about homosexuals going to hell.

You know what? I don't care. The guy is a bonehead and should be told to shut up about his religious beliefs but if he doesn't suck, he should pitch.

Hopefully he doesn't suck...

These are illegal. We do not need any new laws to make them illegal because we already made them flat out illegal. It's not a grey area within the law, it's not a second amendment thing, it's illegal. Period.

Yet when people are caught with them, they are released into the public and told, "Be sure you behave yourself! See you in a couple of months/years for your pre-trial hearing."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, sensible gun control should start with enforcement of existing laws and reasonable control of those individual caught breaking the existing laws. Letting them run free seems like a really dumb idea.

And by the way, I have no problem with putting stronger controls on semi-automatic weapons. We've already made fully-automatic weapons illegal to own without special permitting, why can't we do the same for semi-automatic weapons?

I love it when the DJIA goes up.

That means my retirement accounts are going up.

Tonight is a breakfast for dinner. The Professor asked for one of my specialties - omelettes.
