From the few innings I was able to watch, and looking at the box score, Whitlock pitched a great game. He went seven innings, gave up two earned runs, walked one and struck out seven. That's some pretty good pitching.
As for the fielding, the Red Sox had one error and that was by Turner who was playing third base. He rarely plays third base and trust me, it's a hard position to play. Still, the Red Sox need to get those errors under control. They shouldn't be making error's in every game.
Anyways, the Red Sox won the game 6-3.
They are off tonight and tomorrow they start a three-game series against the New York Aaron Judges.
Today was nice day for golf so that's what we did.
Pat, Willie and I headed out to a local par 3 executive golf course and proceeded to have a great time hitting golf balls. We were having so much fun hitting golf balls, we decided to hit them as often as we could!
I don't want to say we are bad golfers but it's a pretty good bet you will never see any of us on tour. Considering that none of us play golf on a regular basis, we did okay but man, it was not pretty.
I'm going to take two (or maybe three) ibuprofen, eat some dinner and fall asleep early.
