It's nice to have friends with friends.

The old, "I know a guy who knows a guy" network has paid off for me. John was able to find someone who would take my old tractor for parts and scrap. This saves me a pretty chunk of change in disposal fees.

I figure that at the very least, I owe John a beer or five.
