I have a freshly shorn lawn

My wife called me at 1:00 this afternoon and said that my new lawn tractor had arrived. I said, "I'm on my home now." She informed me that I was like a kid with a new toy and I said, "No, I'm a guy with an 8 inch lawn and rain on the way."

So I made it home around 2:00 and mowed my lawn.

My house no longer looks abandoned.

The Red Sox returned to first place in the AL East last night when they beat the Phillies and the Yankees lost to the Mets. This is a good thing and hopefully an indication that they are going to continue having a far better year than last year.

Hopefully they win again this evening.
