The stock market kinda sucks right now

On September 2nd, the stock market tanked and the three indices are all down between 5% and 15% since then. The NASDAQ, home of the tech stocks, took the biggest hit at 15% while the DJIA only lost 7% and the S&P is down about 5%.

I'm not sure why this isn't bigger news than it is. A loss of 15% impacts retirement accounts, business capital, individual investors and the economy in general. And all of this is going on while the country is gradually going back to work.

Maybe the economy (investors) thinks we should be going back work quicker. Maybe they aren't happy that workers are concerned about gathering in workplaces while our government keeps lying to us, saying, "Don't worry! It'll be fine! Go back to work and enjoy yourself!"

Maybe it's because the democrats and the republicans can't seem to stop snarking at each other long enough to take care of the citizens of the this country that need help, which is pretty much all of us.

There's a freaking' pandemic going on! This is not a handout to people that don't want to work, this is keeping the people housed, fed and somewhat stable during an event that is threatening to destroy our civilization.

I hated the federal government under Obama & Bush & Clinton & Bush & Reagan & Carter & Ford but I hate it even more now.

Well, maybe not so much under Ford. He pretty much left us alone and just did goofy things. His biggest thing was pardoning Nixon and that didn't bother me none.

The Red Sox are in Tampa to take on the Rays this evening and I wll be enjoying that game. Not just because it's baseball but because it starts at 6:40 and I might actually stay awake long enough to watch all nine innings.

I also understand there is another sporting event of some sort happening this evening. It involves a foot and a ball. Perhaps I'll take a gander at that sport as well.

While I do that, you can do these:
