My lawn looks pretty good

Last year was hard on my lawn. The drought pretty much turned it brown and killed off several areas. With all the rain we've had recently, my lawn has made a pretty good comeback.

There are quite a few bare spots from where the grass died and never came back but they are shrinking as the season goes on. I'm hoping that by the time June gets here, they will have filled in a bit more.

Just in time for this year's drought to kill them off again...

The Red Sox lost last night but won this afternoon and it's all about the hitting. The normal hitters did pretty good with Martinez, Devers, Bogaerts and Plawecki getting at least two hits each but the surprise of the day was Cordero.

Cordero is currently hitting .177 and was scheduled to be on the bench today but he was called upon in the first inning to pinch run for Hernandez. After crossing the plate to score a run, he stayed in the game, got himself three hits and an RBI.

As for Hernandez, he came out of the game after hitting a double in the first inning. While running to second base, he experienced some hamstring issues. Hopefully it's just a tight hamstring and he'll be fine for tomorrow or Saturday down in Baltimore. He's been playing some pretty good baseball lately and the Red Sox need him in the lineup.

Burgers for dinner and then hockey. Hopefully the Bruins can beat the Rangers tonight and secure that third place slot in the east.
