To quote Charlie Sheen: Winning!

The Bruins and the Capitals played some serious old-time hockey last night with lot's of brawling and lot's of scoring. The Bruins won in regulation, beating the Capitals 4-1. This gives the Bruins a 3-1 lead in their best of seven, one game away from winning and moving on to the second round of the divisionals.

Game 5 will be played in Washington tomorrow (Sunday) at 7:00.

As for the Red Sox, they held the Phillies to 3 runs while scoring 11 of their own. Perez pitched really well, earning the win and while the offense was hitting the ball well, a lot of the runs can be attributed to what can best be described as a "lazy Phillies defense".

It was almost painful to watch the Phillies play in the field. They made 3 errors but even more shocking was how they wandered after baseballs instead of charging them or how they made tosses instead of throws.

Well, that and Danny Santana finally made his debut for the Red Sox.

They meet again this evening and I can't help but wonder if maybe Phillies manager Joe Girardi will still be more than a little pissed off at the level of play they bring to the field. I would have loved to be in that locker room after last nights game to hear what he had to say to them.

Say hello to Ana:

Fortunately for all of us on the east coast, Ana looks like she's gonna hang out in the middle of the Atlantic.

My DVR recorded some curling last night and I spent my afternoon watching three hours of mixed doubles curling.

Now I'm going to spend three hours watching baseball.
