Red Sox lost today but won the series

The lost to the Phillies this afternoon but since they won the first two games of their 3-game series, they leave Philadelphia as winners.

They are off tomorrow while they return to Boston where they will welcome in the Braves for two games.

The Bruins are in Washington tonight to take on the Capitals in game five of the first round of the divisionals.

The Bruins are up 3-1 in the series and if they win tonight, they move on to round two where they will play either the Penguins or the Islanders, depending on who wins that series (currently that series is tied two games each).
