Five down, one hundred and seventy six to go.

The Red Sox won their fifth game today, beating the Braves 5-0, giving them a 5-0 record. There are fourteen spring training games left to play before they pack up and head to New York on April 7th to play their season opener against the Yankees. There are one hundred and sixty games during a regular season so that means they have 176 games left to play before they head into the playoffs.

So far, they are doing pretty damned well.

As for the Yankees, they actually won a game today, beating the Phillies 5-2.

The Bruins are in Montreal to play the Canadiens at 7:00 this evening.

I expect to remain awake for all three periods of this game.

I also expect the Bruins to win since the Canadiens are currently the worst team in the NHL.

Two things to say about this:

1. Russian missiles look like something a 13 year old kid would make out of an old stove pipe.
2. Either the Russians are intentionally shooting at civilian targets or the Ukrainians are hiding munitions in their kitchen cabinets.

I seriously doubt that the Ukrainians are hiding their munitions in their kitchen cabinet. From what I've been reading, they hide their munitions in their guns, tanks and missile launchers, ready to go at a moments notice.

I'm going to figure out what to make for dinner, get into my stretchy pants and then settle in to watch some hockey.
