Once again, the hitters weren't hitting the ball and the baserunners weren't stepping on home plate. The Red Sox had only four hits. You can't win ball games when you only hit the ball four times in nine innings.
The Marlins won the game 2-0, sweeping the Red Sox at home.
Tonight they are in Toronto to start a three-game series against the Blue Jays, a team they are currently five games gehind in the ALEast:
I do not have high hopes...
We're having our house painted...
The company we hired to do the painting is doing a great job. They are meticulous, neat and fast. They also don't speak English...
Actually, the owner speaks English but when he is not here, we use google translate to communicate. It works pretty damned well.
So anyways, once the job is done, I'll post an "after" picture. Until then, we are sealed in plastic.
Hope it doesn't get too hot over the next few days...
The DJIA has been making me happy lately:
The Red Sox and Blue Jays are tied 0-0 going into the third inning. I'm going to continue watching this game.

Key phrase in this story:
"The rider reversed into a police cruiser and eventually crashed, falling off the bike."
I've ridden dirt bikes and street bikes most of my life and I never remember any of them having a "reverse" gear. - They sure could use his bat real soon.

"I had to go to the bathroom pretty badly."
To be honest with you, I enjoy watching him play. I think he's a good golfder and a good human being.
