Interesting drive home

We drove up to Keene to go to the Keene Music Festival. My sons band was playing in it and we decided it would be nice if we showed our support.

They didn't need our support.....

Apparently they are quite the popular band with the youth of today. There had to be a couple of hundred people standing there, singing along with them while they played.

For those of you that don't know him, my son is the young man seated way over to the right with his green baseball cap on backwards. No matter how many times I point out the fact that he has his baseball cap on backwards, he never fixes it.

Kids....

On our way home, just as we got into South Deerfield, the skies opened up. And when I say they opened up, it was biblical. As in Noah and the Ark biblical.

Every driver on the road put their flashers on and pulled into the breakdown lane. It wasn't possible to see beyond the hood of the car and anyone that was insane enough to attempt to drive was hydroplaning all over the place.

After about 10 minutes, we all started moving again but only at about 30 mph. As soon as we got to Greenfield, the road was bone dry and we were able to continue on our way.

Weird weather we're having around here....
