I guess a one game streak is all they got.

The Red Sox lost last night and it wasn't because of the pitching. Pomeranz gave the 124 pitches over 5+ innings which ain't bad. It would have been nice if he could have held the pitch down a bit but the Angels have some pretty damned good hitters like Albert Pujols and Mike Trout

The hitting is what killed them last night. They got six hits with only two runs and those two runs came in the first inning. After that, they couldn't score a run to save their collective lives.

Today's game was on at 3:30 our time which is a much more civilized time and I was able to watch the entire game.

I was thoroughly convinced they were going to lose today's game until the ninth inning. They went into the ninth down 3-0 and that was when their bats suddenly came to life and they scored 5 runs.

The game ended 5-3 and now they are off to Seattle where starting tomorrow night, they will play the Mariners at some ungodly hour like 10:00 at night.
