So much for the heat and humidity.

My kind of day today - no heat and little or no humidity. And to top it off, we had some much needed rain rain this morning.

And for the record, I'd like to see some more rain today or tomorrow because my lawn is dead, dead, dead...

The Red Sox managed to win today and both the Orioles and the Blue Jays lost. This put the Red Sox back into a ties for second place with the Blue Jays and only 2 games behind the first place Orioles.

They acquired some new players over the last two days but they lost two to injuries. Craig Kimbrel, their closer, tore a muscle in his knee and then Brock Holt severely strained his ankle sliding into second.

Hopefully they can keep on winning.
