Thus ends the season.

In their final game of the season, the Patriots beat the Jets 28 to 14. They shouldn't take any pride in todays win since the Jets have the second worst record in the NFL but I'm sure they all got together in the locker room after the game told each other that a win is a win, even if it comes way too late to help their record.

Even with today's win, after watching every game this season, I'm comfortable saying that if the Patriots bring Newton back next season, it will be a mistake.

A big mistake.

They need to find a quarterback who is comfortable with the program that Belichick & McDaniels run, who can throw the ball well and doesn't have the same hairstyle as Sideshow Bob Terwilliger.

Well, maybe the hairstyle part isn't a big problem but, at the very least, the guy needs to be able to throw the damned ball.

Other than Trump changing his tirade about the election from "There was fraud! Fraud I tell ya!" to "It's not possible that I lost the election! Just look at how many people attended my rallies!" there hasn't been a lot going on.

A lot of people are still catching the 'rona and some number of those people are dying from the 'rona. Most of us are staying away from others and wearing our masks when we go out but a lot of us are holding parties and not wearing their masks.

Those people are probably going to catch the 'rona soon and some of them will die.

We call those people "Darwin Award Winners"
