A rover with a twist

NASA has successfully landed its latest rover, Perseverance, on the surface of Mars and this robot comes with a new twist - it has a helicopter.

The helicopter, which is named Ingenuity, doesn't have much a science mission. It's main mission is to test whether flight in the thin Martian atmosphere is even possible. If they are successful, future missions may have helicopters that perform serious science or even lay the groundwork for human flight on Mars.

Another cool little package on Perseverance is called Moxie, which stands for Mars Oxygen Experiment. This experiment will attempt to extract oxygen from the Martian CO2 atmosphere. If you are on Mars and you can make oxygen, you can make rocket fuel, breathable air and fire.

All of those things are important to surviving on Mars and maybe even getting back to Earth.

The Florida Panthers have moved into a tie with the Bruins for second place in the NHL. This means the Bruins really need to beat the Devils tonight and move back into sole possession of second place.

Fortunately, the only Bruin out on IR is Kase so they are essentially at full strength. They are also fully rested after being off for the last four days.

I'm hoping they beat the soundly defeat the Devils and take that winning high into Sunday when they play the Flyers.

I'm out of things to prattle on about.
