They need to play

Because the Bruins games have been postponed, they were unable to gain any points. The Leafs and the Flyers however are both playing and they are both winning. This means the Leafs have added one point and are now two points ahead of the Bruins in the league. The Flyers have also added points and are now only three points behind the Bruins in the east.

The Bruins play the Islanders tomorrow and they need the win to hold on to what they got.

The Red Sox continue to be active as we approach spring training. In a deal with the Rays, they sent some cash and two minor league pitchers (both of which had been recently designated for assignment) to the Rays for a minor league catcher with a big bat and an outfielder.

Bloom is working to build a team, I just hope it's a team that can play good baseball. After the last two seasons, I'd like to see them make the playoffs instead of going on an early vacation in September.
