The rain actually helped

On the left is a picture I took on Friday. One the right is a picture I took this morning.

The grass is greener on the right because the sun was behind my in the morning but look closely and you will see that not only is it greener, there is more of it.

Who knows, maybe I'll have a lawn at some point.
