A November 2010 police log entry says: "Michael Barnett, 30, of 500 Mystic Ave. and Adam Leal, 26, of 10B Memorial Road, arrested Nov. 18 at 8:27 p.m., on charges of receiving stolen property over $250."

A January 2012 police log entry says: "Michael Barnett, 31, of 500A Mystic Ave., arrested on Jaques Street on a warrant for larceny over $250, failure to stop for police, driving on a suspended license, number plate violation, negligent driving."

From March of 2012.

And finally, April of 2013.

Can someone explain to me why individuals like Michael Barnett are allowed to live in our society? I won't ask what good they bring but I will ask how we can tolerate the bad they bring.
