Wow. When they suck, they really suck.

The Red Sox managed to lose to the Athletics 13-0 last night. That's what I call having an extra-large economy-size can of whoopass dumped all over you.

Today's game started at 4:05 and as I type this, it's tied 3-3 in the middle the 5th inning.

I'm hoping it concludes in a much better fashion for the Red Sox but if it doesn't, I would still say that overall, they are playing some pretty damned good baseball.

How can you say anything else when talking about a team that is in first place in the AL East and tied for first place in the AL.
