My wife is safely back home.

She took off from Des Moines around noon and, after a layover in Chicago, landed in Windsor Locks around 6:15.

My daughter was sad to see her leave Iowa but The Dog and I are both happy to have her home here in Massachusetts.

The Steelers beat the Dolphins this afternoon so that means the Texans will be in Foxboro to play the Patriots next Saturday evening.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that since the Patriots have beat the Texans pretty badly every time they've played them, they'll probably do it again and move on to the AFC conference playoff.

I admit it's just a guess but it's a pretty good guess.
