With that loss, they are now six and a half games out of the wildcard race.
Further more, they are projected as having a slightly better than 4% chance of making the playoffs.
On the upside, the Yankees are projected as having a 0.2% chance of making the playoffs...
You know what I find amusing?
I find it very amusing that these guys all claim that they are not terrorists and the reason they did what they did was because of some unrelated problem within their family.
Let me just say to Mr Biggs, "Don't blame your daughter for your decision to attack and take over the U.S. Capitol. She had nothing to do with it."
He does blame Trump and that I can see. Trump spent most of the day imploring those people to "go to the Capitol and fight!" His attorney is employing a redirection of blame when he says, "...his commander-in-chief" but he is also not wrong. Biggs is not a member of the military hence Trump was not is commander-in-chief.
What bothers me about this whole situation is that prior to Trump, I had one solid thing I could rely on in this country and that was we elected our leaders in a peaceful manner and the transition of power was done in a way to assure us that the continuity of government occurred in a peaceful and secure manner.
We don't really have that anymore. We have a fear that our polling places might be scenes of violence. We have a fear that our personal choices could result in attacks from people who don't like the way we think. We have a fear that the solid foundations of our government have been weakened by an onslaught from Trump's cult.
I'm going to watch some DVRs and fall asleep early.
