First place by three games.

Tonight the Red Sox are in Baltimore for the start of a four game series against the second place team, the Orioles.

If they can take three of those four games, they will take a commanding lead in the ALEast and with only thirteen games left in the season that will probably seal the deal for them.

That would be nice.

They are saying that Garoppolo didn't break or tear anything but they don't expect him to play this Thursday. That means the new kid, Brissett, will have to step up and hold off the 2-0 Texans.

Still, all things considered, at 2-0 the Patriots are doing better than any of the talking heads expected them to.

I have things to do this evening that may, or may not, prevent me from paying attention to the Red Sox.

While I'm either watching or not watching, you should click on these:
