Four games ahead and looking good

I managed to get home in time to watch most of last nights game. They beat the Orioles to take a commanding 4 game lead in the ALEast.

There are 12 more games left in the season and the Red Sox have a magic number of 9. For each Red Sox win, that number goes down by one. For each second-place team loss, that number also goes down by one.

The problem is, there is currently a tie for second place so both the Orioles and the Blue Jays have to lose.

I'm hoping they are both big losers.

The second game of the four game series is this evening so you can bet I'll be watching as much of that as possible.
