This is what I was hoping for.

Tomorrow evening at 7:00, the first place Red Sox will play the second place Blue Jays, which is way better than saying that the second place Red Sox will be struggling to overcome the first place Blue Jays.

As things stand right now, there are 23 games left in the regular season and the Red Sox are in first place in the ALEast.

Only four and a half games separate the fourth place team from the first place team so nothing is etched in stone. The lead could very well swap hands several times over the next three weeks.

But being the first place Red Sox is way better than being the last place Rays or even the second place Blue Jays.


There is no baseball on this evening and I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.
