Six o'clock is a good time for a baseball game

The game is on and I'm pretty concerned because as I type this, the Red Sox are down 3-2 in the seventh. That is bad because the Blue Jays beat the Yankees this afternoon and it would suck if the Blue Jays were to pick up a game on the Red Sox.

So as it stands right now, the Red Sox are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the playoffs but there are two other prizes they are chasing.

The first is the ALEast division title.

The second is the best record in the AL. If they grab the best record in the AL, they get home field advantage in the playoffs. They also get the first round off while the two wild card teams play each other.

It's nice to have that first round off because it's basically a week off to catch their breath after playing a 162 game season.
