Tied for first place.

For a few hours, the Red Sox and the Blue Jays were tied for first place. The Blue Jays lost last night and the Red Sox won, which resulted in both teams having identical first place records.

Then today, the Blue Jays won and the Red Sox lost which put the Red Sox back in second place, behind the Blue Jays by one game.

Tomorrow, the Red Sox will go to San Diego to take on the Padres while the Blue Jays will go to New York to play the Yankees. I continue to hope that the Red Sox will take all 3 games against the Padres and the Blue Jays will lose all 3 games against the Yankees.
