At 3:30, our refrigerator arrived and is currently making every effort to reach a good operating temperature.

The Red Sox manage to beat the Guardians 6-3 last night. Pivetta pitched a hell of a game, going seven strong innings but the big story was the return of Christian Arroyo.
Back on June 15, Arroyo went on the 10 day DL with covid. Usually when guys come back from the DL, they take a few games to get back into the swing of things. Not Arroyo.
He came out like a house afire.
In four at-bats, he had three hits and three RBIs. He also got plunked once to get on base.
First pitch for tonight's game was 6:10. That means that unlike last night when I only made it to the eighth inning, I will probably make it through all nine innings tonight.
Tonight was chinese food night.
And now that I'm full of crab rangoons, chicken fingers and teriyaki steak, I might not make it through nine innings...
