What is more important, in my opinion, is that if the Red Sox win today's game, they will be at .500 with 27 wins and 27 losses.
The last time they were at .500 it was April 22nd.
Right now (5:15pm), the score is 1-1 in the 4th inning and Hill is pitching pretty well. Hopefully he keeps it up and the Red Sox batters manage to step on home plate a lot more times.
We (The Vet, My Wife and myself) looked at another house today. This one was built in the 90s and is in good shape but they want way more than it is worth. It sits on a postage-stamp sized lot and has no garage. Because the lot is so small, there no room to build one. She is going to make an offer but expects it to be declined.
She has an appointment to look at another one tomorrow that seems to have a lot of promise. It is valued correctly and it will need work but nothing that prevents occupancy. It is on a large lot so The Small Main Dog will have room to roam.
We'll know more tomorrow after looking at it.
My broccoli is about ready to plant in the garden.
For some reason, I thought broccoli would be less vine-like and more like little trees.
Guess we'll see what happens over the next month. If we are lucky, maybe we'll have 2 or three pounds of broccoli to eat. Or maybe we'll have dead plants. Who knows. I'm not really a gardener...
I'm going to toss steaks on the grill and have some dinner while watching the rest of this ball game.
